How care is structured
Levels of Care
People move between levels of outpatient rehab as things change, without starting over. Your starting level is set at the assessment.
- Ambulatory DetoxA medically supervised outpatient program that manages the physical symptoms of withdrawal while you keep living at home. Nurse practitioners and registered nurses assess and monitor you at the Columbus and Dayton facilities. It covers mild to moderate withdrawal, and not everyone is a candidate.Read More
- Partial HospitalizationThe most intensive level of care Leora offers: five days a week, about six hours a day, with lunch provided and a nurse practitioner every week. You go home at the end of each day.Read More
- Intensive OutpatientThree to five days a week, three hours of therapy group a day, which comes to nine to fifteen hours a week, plus individual appointments. It runs in Columbus and Dayton, and virtual IOP is available anywhere in Ohio.Read More
- OutpatientThe least intensive level of care at Leora: two hours of therapy group one or two days a week, plus individual appointments. For some people it follows intensive outpatient, and for others it is the starting point. It runs in Columbus and Dayton.Read More
- Virtual IOPLeora's intensive outpatient program delivered by telehealth anywhere in Ohio. It is fully remote, with morning, afternoon and evening sessions, and it treats substance use and mental health conditions.Read More
